OVERDOG — Terms of Service
Effective date: 21 June 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of OVERDOG — the website at overdog.bet and its companion application surfaces (the installable web app and the Telegram Mini App), together with the wallet, trading, and social features offered through them (collectively, the "Service").
In these Terms, "OVERDOG," "we," "us," and "our" mean the OVERDOG service at overdog.bet and its companion surfaces, together with everyone who helps provide it. "You" and "your" mean you, the user.
Please read these Terms carefully. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms include important limits on our responsibility to you (sections 10 and 11) and require you to confirm that your use of the Service is legal where you live (section 3).
1. What OVERDOG is
OVERDOG provides access to on-chain prediction and event markets powered by the Polymarket protocol, through an interface that lets you trade without operating a blockchain wallet yourself.
- OVERDOG is not a bookmaker, and is not the counterparty to your trades. You buy and sell event-outcome positions against other market participants at prices the market sets. We do not set odds and we do not take the other side of your positions.
- OVERDOG does not decide or grade outcomes. Markets are resolved by the underlying protocol and its oracle, not by us.
- OVERDOG operates a custodial wallet for you. For convenience, we hold and sign with wallet keys on your behalf so you can trade through the interface. You can export your wallet key at any time, and withdraw at any time — with no approval step on our side. Section 5 is precise about what the exported key does and does not do.
- OVERDOG charges a commission of 1% of your trade volume, in addition to the underlying protocol's own fees. These amounts are disclosed to you before you confirm a trade or withdrawal. There is no bookmaker's margin ("vig") built into the prices.
The Service is a tool for accessing markets and information. It is not a source of advice, predictions, or guaranteed results (section 7).
2. Who can use the Service
You may use the Service only if you can form a binding agreement with us and only as permitted by these Terms and by the law that applies to you. By using the Service you make the representations in section 3.
3. Eligibility — your representations and your responsibility
By creating an account or using the Service, you represent and warrant, each time you use it, that:
- (a) Age. You are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in the place you live, whichever is greater.
- (b) Legality is your responsibility. Using the Service — and trading event-outcome positions or betting generally — is lawful in your jurisdiction, and you are solely responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you. We do not represent that the Service is lawful in any particular place, and we cannot and do not verify whether it is lawful for you. If it is not legal where you are, you must not use the Service.
- (c) Sanctions. You are not located in, ordinarily resident in, or a national of any country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions (including, without limitation, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine), and you are not a person on any applicable sanctions or restricted-party list (including the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control "Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons" list). You will not use the Service for, or on behalf of, any such person, country, or region.
- (d) Your own account. The information you give us is accurate, you are acting for yourself and not for an undisclosed third party, and you will keep your sign-in method secure.
We do not block access to the Service based on your location. Your eligibility is governed entirely by the representations above. Using the Service where you are not eligible is a breach of these Terms, and the responsibility and any consequences are yours alone.
4. Your account, sign-in, and security
- Sign-in. OVERDOG uses sign-in provided through third parties (for example, an email magic-link, Google, or Telegram). There is no separate OVERDOG password.
- No identity verification (no KYC). We do not require identity documents to open an account, deposit, trade, or withdraw.
- Your security is your responsibility. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method, your device, and your two-factor authentication ("2FA") secure. Sensitive actions — withdrawing funds and exporting your key — require 2FA, which you set up at or before your first withdrawal.
- We will never ask you for secrets. OVERDOG will never ask you for your wallet key, your 2FA codes, or a password, and will never contact you first to ask you to move, send, or "verify" your funds. Treat any such request as fraud.
5. Custody, withdrawals, and the finality of transactions
- Custody and export. The wallet is custodial — we hold keys on your behalf — and you may export your key at any time, and withdraw at any time. Be precise about what the key does: it is your wallet's on-chain owner, and we verified that on Polygon. It is not on its own enough to move the funds — the wallet only accepts instructions through Polymarket's own contracts, so an exported key in another wallet app shows an empty account. What makes your money reachable is that we do not hold it back: withdrawal has no approval step, no hold and no cooling-off period. Your access depends on the chain and on Polymarket, not on our permission.
- No holds. We do not impose identity holds, "fraud-check" holds, or discretionary freezes on withdrawals. The only delay on a withdrawal is the time the blockchain takes to process it, which we show you honestly.
- What "we can't freeze you" means. It means we do not withhold, hold, or freeze your funds, and there is no button on our side that stops a withdrawal — not a fraud check, not a review, not a discretionary hold. It does not mean the wallet is non-custodial (we hold keys until you export), and it does not mean an exported key lets you move the funds without us: see section 5.
- Transactions are final. Deposits, trades, and withdrawals settle on a public blockchain and cannot be reversed. Always confirm the asset, network, address, and amount before you send. A send to the wrong address or over the wrong network cannot be recovered, by us or by anyone.
6. Markets, prices, fees, and selling early
- Markets and resolution. Markets are provided through the underlying on-chain protocol. Prices are set by the market, and outcomes are resolved by the protocol's oracle — not by OVERDOG.
- Assets. The crypto-assets and networks the Service supports are those shown in the OVERDOG interface at the time you transact. We may add or remove supported assets and networks.
- Fees. Our commission (1% of trade volume) and the protocol's own fees are disclosed before you confirm. We show you the net amount before you commit.
- Selling early ("Cash Out"). Selling a position before a market resolves executes as a market sell at the live order-book price. On a thin market, the available exit may be partial or at a poor price. There is no guaranteed exit price.
7. Risk — you assume it
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Trading event-outcome positions carries a substantial risk of loss. You can lose the entire amount you stake. Outcomes are uncertain.
- Nothing on the Service is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Market prices, other users' positions and track records, and any signal, crowd data, or social information are information only — not a recommendation and not a prediction of any result. No one can honestly promise you a winning outcome.
- Crypto-assets are volatile. Their value can change sharply and independently of your positions.
- You use the Service at your own discretion and risk, and you freely and knowingly assume all of these risks.
8. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not:
- use the Service where it is unlawful for you, or in breach of any representation in section 3;
- use the Service as, or on behalf of, a sanctioned or restricted person (section 3(c));
- attempt to defraud, manipulate, or abuse the markets, other users, or the Service;
- use another person's account or sign-in, or let anyone use yours;
- attempt to break, probe, or circumvent the Service's security or access controls;
- post user-generated content (such as theses or comments) that is unlawful, that impersonates OVERDOG or any other person, or that makes prohibited claims — including claims that any bet or strategy is "risk-free," "guaranteed," or "no-loss," that betting is a source of income or financial security, or that skill removes the chance of losing.
9. Suspension of access to the Service
We may suspend or restrict your access to the Service (for example, for a breach of section 8 or section 3, or to protect the Service or other users). This does not give us control over your funds: we do not suspend, hold or freeze withdrawals, and we do not review them (section 5). We do not suspend access to your funds.
10. No warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, or accuracy of market data, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We do not warrant any outcome, return, profit, or result. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of our liability
To the fullest extent permitted by the law that applies to you:
- OVERDOG will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost opportunity, or trading losses, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
- OVERDOG will not be liable for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, including blockchain failures or congestion, oracle or protocol behaviour, the freezing or blacklisting of assets by a third party (such as a stablecoin issuer), the loss or compromise of your sign-in method, device, key, or 2FA, or your own errors (such as sending to a wrong address).
- Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (i) the total fees you paid us in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (ii) US$100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OVERDOG from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, your user-generated content, or your violation of any law or any third-party right.
13. Disputes and applicable law
We have deliberately kept this section simple and honest.
- You are responsible for the law that applies to you. Any dispute relating to these Terms or to your use of the Service is to be resolved under the laws that apply to you, and resolving it is your responsibility, consistent with section 3.
- No forum is nominated and no arbitration is required. These Terms do not submit to any particular court or jurisdiction, do not name a governing-law jurisdiction, and do not require arbitration.
- The protections govern to the extent the law allows. The disclaimers, risk allocation, and limitations in sections 7, 10, and 11 apply to the fullest extent permitted by the law that applies to you, regardless of which law that is.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the "Effective date" above and surface material changes in the Service. If you continue to use the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
15. General
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the rest remain in full effect, and the unenforceable provision will be applied to the maximum extent permitted.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a transfer of the Service.
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Risk Disclosure (each incorporated by reference), are the entire agreement between you and OVERDOG about the Service and replace any earlier understanding.
