How this futures market settles
This is a single neg-risk field: every candidate is a Yes/No market on that outcome, and only one of them can win. When the outcome is decided, the winning candidate's shares redeem for one dollar each on-chain via Polymarket's oracle, verifiable on Polygon; a candidate that drops out before settlement voids to zero. The price carries no vig, and fees, ours and Polymarket's, are included in the odds and payout your bet slip shows before you confirm.
Live odds across the field
The field on the exchange includes Dan Quinn, Shane Steichen, Brian Schottenheimer, DeMeco Ryans, Liam Coen, Sean Payton, Matt LaFleur, Mike Vrabel and 24 more. Each contender is a separate Yes/No market you can back or lay at order-book prices — the winning candidate's shares redeem for one dollar each, and every other candidate settles at zero. There is no vig on top of the exchange price, and fees, ours and Polymarket's, are included in the odds and payout your bet slip shows before you confirm.
How this market resolves
Settlement follows Polymarket's published resolution criteria for this market: “This market will resolve according to the next NFL head coach fired from market creation to the conclusion of the 2026-27 NFL season. A head coach will be considered fired if their team officially announces that they have been fired, demoted, dismissed, or relieved of their duties, including a mutual parting of ways announced by the team. Voluntary resignations and retirements will not count. If two or more…” The result is settled on-chain via Polymarket's oracle and is verifiable on Polygon.
