How this futures market settles
This is a single neg-risk field: every candidate is a Yes/No market on that outcome, and only one of them can win. When the outcome is decided, the winning candidate's shares redeem for one dollar each on-chain via Polymarket's oracle, verifiable on Polygon; a candidate that drops out before settlement voids to zero. The price carries no vig, and fees, ours and Polymarket's, are included in the odds and payout your bet slip shows before you confirm.
Live odds across the field
The field on the exchange includes United States, Brazil, Ecuador, Paraguay, Venezuela, Peru, Argentina, Mexico and 4 more. Each contender is a separate Yes/No market you can back or lay at order-book prices — the winning candidate's shares redeem for one dollar each, and every other candidate settles at zero. There is no vig on top of the exchange price, and fees, ours and Polymarket's, are included in the odds and payout your bet slip shows before you confirm.
How this market resolves
Settlement follows Polymarket's published resolution criteria for this market: “This market will resolve according to the country officially announced as the host of the 2028 Copa America. A qualifying announcement means an official confirmation by CONMEBOL of the country selected to host the tournament. Bid proposals, recommendations by member associations, and media speculation about the decision will not qualify on their own. If the tournament is officially announced as being co-hosted…” The result is settled on-chain via Polymarket's oracle and is verifiable on Polygon.
