Responsible gambling
Betting is entertainment with real financial risk. You can lose what you stake, and for some people betting stops being fun and becomes a problem. This page is honest about that risk, and about what we do and do not do about it.
Know the risk
Every bet can lose. Prediction-market prices move fast, outcomes are uncertain, and there is no strategy that removes the chance of losing. Stake only money you can afford to lose, and never bet money you need for essentials or money you have borrowed.
Warning signs
It may be time to step back if you are betting more than you planned, chasing losses to win them back, betting to escape stress or low mood, hiding your betting from people close to you, or borrowing money to bet. Any of these is a reason to pause and reach out.
Staying in control
Set your own limits before you start and keep to them. Treat any money you stake as spent, not as an investment. Take regular breaks, and never bet to recover a loss. If betting has stopped being fun, stop.
What we do and don't do
We don't run deposit limits, loss limits, cool-off periods or self-exclusion, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. We are not a licensed operator and we hold no tools to stop you. What we do have is the one thing that matters if you decide to stop: your balance is yours and withdrawal is always open — no hold, no cooling-off period, no approval step. If you want out, take your money out. If betting has become a problem, look for support you can actually reach where you live; a link from us to a helpline in another country would be a gesture, not help. You must be 18 or over to use OVERDOG.
